  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, thinly cut
  • 1 (26-ounce) can of Spanish green olives, drained and chopped
  • 1 (3.5-ounce) can of capers, drained and chopped
  • 1 (26-ounce) jar of marinara sauce
  • ½ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 (1-pound) box of linguine
  • ¼ teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 15 ml of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, thinly cut
  • 1 (28-gram) can of Spanish green olives, drained and chopped
  • 1 (100 gram) can of capers, drained and chopped
  • 1 (28 ml) jar marinara sauce
  • 30 grams fresh parsley, chopped
  • 5 ml lemon zest
  • 1 (0.5 kilogram) box of linguine
  • 5 ml of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

how to make linguine:

  • In a large sauce pan, heat oil over medium heat.
  • Add in garlic and red pepper flakes for about two minutes.
  • Mix in the olives, parsley, lemon zest, and sauce; reduce heat.
  • Let mixture simmer for 15 minutes.
  • While the sauce simmers, cook linguine in a medium pot according to your box's instructions.
  • Once completed, drain linguine in straining bowl.
  • Pour linguine into serving bowls and add sauce on top.
